cncPave is a computer simulation program whose purpose is to
facilitate competent decision-making when designing concrete pavements.
The latest version of the program, cncPave, is available for download from this website from 1 September 2007. The new version includes the latest research outcomes of the Roodekrans thin concrete trial sections, the HVS load transfer testing at Hilton and the HVS testing of the Town Hill inlay as well as the outcomes of the research into Ultra-thin Continuously Reinforced Concrete Pavement (UTCRCP) currently underway at Heidelberg.
This latest version includes:
The use of steel fibres in the concrete
The ability to design of UltraThin CRCPs
Changes to the "Loads" input screen to accommodate the latest data from the WIM stations around the country
Choice between a linear and exponential traffic growth model.
Default number of axles per heavy vehicle depending on the choice of traffic model.
